My go to for classic dumplings, which are juicy and flavourful here. Guotie is pan fried to perfection unlike many similar stalls that have started to deep fry instead, and xiaolongbao is fantastic too. Also enjoy their assortment of noodles and fried rice, and the lettuce (油麦菜)with black bean and salted fish is a nice surprise. Have dined in and ordered food delivery many times from here and never been disappointed. The chefs and staff have been around for a while and always serve with a smile. Love it!

Food is not bad, but there are also several misses. I recommend getting their noodles and avoiding the xiao long bao! I've tried the fried rice with pork chop, fried noodles with chicken, spicy wanton noodles, and the xiao long bao. The fried rice is not bad, but could do with a bit more salt. The pork chop was pretty good, but was on the thinner side. I enjoyed the fried noodles with chicken, the flavour was quite good. The spicy wanton noodles were alright, I still preferred the fried noodles with chicken. I felt that the flavour of the noodles was in general better than the fried rice. The xiao long bao was the worst item here, as the flavour was too sweet with a meaty taste. The lunch crowd can cause this place to get a bit packed, so do try to come earlier or later if possible. Overall, I will be back if I'm craving some noodles or fried rice in the area!

Was wandering around the Bukit Merah Town Centre looking for quick lunchtime eat when we chanced upon this place. Place was about 80% full at peak lunch hour on a weekday. 红油抄手: Slippery thin wrapper, respectable amount of meat filling, seasoning was perfect (just the right amount of soy and chilli crisp). 葱油面: I normally shy away from 拉面 but these noodles had sufficient chew, though the fragrance of the scallion/shallot could have been stronger. Am glad this wasn't too oily though. Friend got a soup noodle with pork slices, shrimp and dried scallop - ingredients were plentiful and broth was sweet. Overall, true rating is closer to 4.5, but I have rounded up as I believe this place is worth visiting, particularly given the excellent cost:performance ratio.

The egg fried rice was a winner. The xiao long bao and pan fried dumplings were good as well. Dan Dan noodles missed the mark. Will return to try other dishes.

Papa says: Fried rice and xiaolongbao are good options! Fried rice was incredibly flavourful and loved how each grain was somehow coated with egg. The xialongbao was also nice when eaten hot, but I just wish it was more juicy. Meat was sweet and flavorful! On the other hand, I was a little disappointed that the Guotie was not cooked to perfection as what other reviews mentioned —the bottom was charred before it became crispy. Might have been a bad day. Also just a note that it's non air-conditioned, so beware of flies and mosquitoes.

Their weekday lunch set meal is decent: main, sides, drink. Looks like they renovated in recent months so it's new and pretty clean. Pork chop fried rice standard lower than King of Fried Rice but still alright. Xlb decent. Crowded during weekday lunchtime w limited seats so try to come early
